  • The proposals are evaluated by the whole LabEx steering commitee independently. To reduce conflicts of interest, proposals are not evaluated by steering committee members who belong tot he same institute as the candidate. Moreover, members of the steering committee belonging tot he same team as the candidate leave the room during the discussion of the proposal.

Ex : an application from a PhD student supervised by F. Chaouloff (marsicano's team, NCM) is evaluated by members of the committees belonging to IINS, INCIA, NutriNeuro, IMN and Sanpsy. Dyring the discussion, Giovanni Marsicano leaves the room.

  • 2 referees are attributed to each proposal. Their role is to present the project during the selection meeting, their evaluations have the same weight as the other members of the steering committee.
