  • The proposals are sent for advisory opinion of the project, based on the valuation criteria to external experts without conflicts of interest. The steering committee members and experts will all sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
  • Projects are then evaluated by the whole labEx steering committee independently. To reduce conflicts of interest, proposas are not evaluated by steering committee members who belong to the ame institute as partners. Moreover, members of the steering commitee belonging to the same team as at least one candidate leave the room during the iscussion of the proposal. 2 referees are attributed to each proposal. Their role is to present the projet during the selection meeting, their evaluations have the same weight as the other members of the steering committee.
  • Some experts are also invited during the selection meeting for the discussion.
